Nada Matta
Follow ArtistAn immersion in the purity and ingenuity of nature and early childhood emanates from the drawings by Nada Matta. Lebanese, born in 1968, a graduate of ATEP, Paris, Nada completed her artistic training at the A&F Chantraine dance school in France.
“Everything starts with an opening, a desire. I mark my outlines, and I work a bit like I learned to approach life. Some details are very controlled, at least in the intention. Then there is always the great part of the surprise. As I work with Chinese ink, the accidents that arise become a game that I have fun transforming into harmony. Often, the work leads me towards more magic. Creation allows me to connect to myself, to a living source.”
